| Veronica Ann's was founded in 1998 by artist and designer Barbie White. Barbie's vision was to run a company where imagination and creativity abound and are used to create beautiful surroundings to live, work, and play in. Just like our clients, Veronica Ann's projects are all unique. Each new job we encounter brings a fresh batch of new ideas to our minds, and seeing those ideas through to a finished work is our greatest achievement. Our strong desire for customer satisfaction and our attention to every detail will ensure you get the look you want and the quality of a masterpiece, everytime. | Barbie White Barbie White has always been in love with art. When she was a young child, her parents encouraged her artistic bent by equipping her with basic art supplies and giving her the freedom to do creative things such as painting murals on her bedroom walls. After pursuing her degree in pre-med at the University of Georgia, Barbie decided to stay at home to raise her children. In her stay at home mom days, she was involved in many creative endeavors, all the while honing her talents and learning many new skills. In the mid 1980's she opened an art supply store, painted numerous commissioned works and taught art lessons. Habersham Furniture of Toccoa, Georgia, offered her an artist/designer position in 1991. Barbie accepted the position and designed the company's original art pieces for the next 10 years. Wishing to realize her own individual artistic dreams, she left the company in 2001. Since then she has been actively operating Veronica Ann's. Barbie's works have been featured in many national publications including Southern Living, Country Living, Victoria Magazine, and Southern Accents. Barbie has 6 grown children and 11 grandchildren. She lives on Mountain Rest Lake in South Carolina with her husband, Steve, and their 4 dogs. |
| Holli Watts Holli Watts has been surrounded by art and design since childhood. Her mother's passion for creativity was absorbed by Holli at an early age, when she spent most of her days designing houses and restaurants for her dolls and friends. She attended Piedmont College and the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in Business Administration. She started Sylvan Lake Collections, a home-based art business, after the birth of her son. She created a line of hand-painted home furnishings and accessories, and the small part-time operation soon turned into a full-fledged company with showrooms in High Point, Chicago, and Atlanta. Holli's company kept her busy for 8 years, until she decided to join forces with her mother in 2004 at Veronica Ann's. Holli enjoys working alongside the person who most inspires her, and also the creative freedom each new project brings. Holli's works have been featured in Romantic Homes, Country Living Gardner, and Better Homes and Gardens, to name a few. Holli lives in Rabun Gap, Georgia with her now 15-year-old son, Justin, and her dogs Brody & Max. When not busy painting and designing, Holli and Justin love visiting new places and snow skiing. |
